P.02 – MOSS & Co.03 | The Collection Range – Case Study

MOSS & CO. is a loungewear brand, based on the principles of comfort, natural materials and versatility.
Considering the creation of the brand, from scratch, we had to set the brand ranges. After deciding three collection ranges, setting what each of those were meant to represent on the brand.
MOSS is the statement line, with the seasonal collection, focused in more avant-garde pieces, with different patterns and colours to cater to the needs of a Nordic client, looking for minimalist but smart, functional and comfortable design.
MOSS Collection Range: 7 looks combined with top and bottom pieces, from short sleeve and shorts to long-sleeve and trousers.
CO. is the basic line, non-season specific, with fewer colour options in each season, but with high quality, high-density cotton fabric. These models would be available in every season, maybe with a change on colours, patterns and trimming details.
CO Collection Range: 4 looks combined with top and bottom pieces, in long-sleeve and trousers forms.
COMBO is a brand line focused on two-pieces sets, either female or male, that makes a combination of outer and inner loungewear. i.e., a sleeping gown and a robe, to wear either indoors or outside. As these pieces are made as a luxury range on the brand, it is expected they have better finishes and a more distinctive look.
COMBO Collection Range: 3 female looks, combined with an interior and an exterior piece.
Why am I doing this? I am someone who loves a motivational challenge, and while I love to tackle other people’s challenges, I wanted to come up with a different set of rules for a challenge of my own in my fields of professional action, so I can learn with the process too.
